J. Enrique Corredor is a Partner at BTG Pactual, a Sao Paulo based investment bank and asset manager, where he heads the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate desk from their New York office. In this capacity, he is responsible for originating and executing IPOs and other equity-related offerings on behalf of companies throughout Latin America. Notable transactions include Banco Santander Brasil's US$7.5bn IPO (the largest IPO ever in Brazil) and Brasil Foods’ US$2.8bn follow-on offering.
Prior to BTG Pactual, Mr. Corredor worked at UBS Investment Bank in New York for nine years within the US and Latin American Equity Capital Markets teams. Notable transactions include Grupo Televisa's $238mm accelerated bookbuild (the largest overnight equity offering ever in Mexico), Bancolombia's $322mm follow-on offering, IAM's $398mm IPO (largest IPO ever in Chile), and Southern Peru Copper's $940mm follow-on offering. Mr. Corredor began his career at KPMG Consulting in Washington, DC.
Mr. Corredor has an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School in New York, where he remains an active recruiter, and a B.A. in History from Tufts University in Medford, MA. He was born in Bogota, Colombia, is a US citizen, and currently resides in New York City. Mr. Corredor is also involved with his former high school, Georgetown Preparatory School in suburban Washington, DC where he is a member of the New York alumnae mentoring program.
