Seeking Interns

OFFERING INTERNSHIPS, ENTRY-LEVEL CAREER OPPORTUNITIES, and/or JOB SHADOWING opportunities at your company or organization?  Connect to our HACE Collegiate Chapter Leaders!

For several years, HACE has collaborated with various colleges and universities, providing students with the ongoing insight, access, and professional development needed to succeed as young professionals.  Formally, we have established HACE Collegiate Chapters at DePaul University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northeastern Illinois University, and University of Illinois at Chicago, where students lead HACE initiatives in their communities and on campus.  This year, HACE will also be launching chapters at the University of Houston, Northwestern University, and Loyola University.

The purpose of the HACE Collegiate Chapters is to provide students with leadership opportunities, expand their networks, and connect them to internship/entry-level job opportunities.  This is where HACE employer partners have an opportunity to play an important role.  Over the past year, HACE has helped various college students land internship and entry level job opportunities, such as Amairani Canelo.  Please read her story below:

 “...As an HACE member, I got the opportunity to embark on the most challenging experience in my career up to now.  Through HACE, I was able to land an opportunity with The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an HR Recruiting Summer Associate.  My experience here at The Fed was great.  I was able to gain real world work experience in such an energetic, fast paced corporate environment...I believe that as a Latino, it is important to be able to connect with organizations like HACE that can help you succeed.  They are invested in their members and in helping them be prosperous and successful people…Thanks to the great connections I made at HACE and at The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago I was able to land my next opportunity as an HR Fall Staffing Intern at DePaul University.”
