Carlos Herrera

Carlos Herrera brings over 14 years of Talent Acquisition/University Relations/Diversity & Inclusion experience. The biggest highlight of his career is making a difference in people’s lives in a positive manner.
Carlos began his career as a Senior Technical Recruiter with TEKsystem (also known as Aerotek, Allegis Group) a premier technology staffing company. Carlos also held a vital recruitment role at CCH Incorporated, A Wolters Kluwer Company, specializing in information services for tax, accounting, legal and business professionals. As part of the "Good Hands" family at Allstate Insurance, Carlos was responsible for the recruitment and selection for the National Sales Management team and then promoted to play an influential role on the Diversity, Inclusion and Work/Life team. During his time with Zurich’s North American Talent Acquisition team, his main responsibility included traveling throughout the United States to build on University Relations. He was responsible for Zurich's top-tier Internship Program, Associate Program and Global Associate Program. Additional responsibilities include participating in many strategic recruitment projects, which included Diversity initiatives, while staying heavily involved with company activities. Carlos has rejoined the Diversity and Inclusion team as a Senior Consultant. One of Carlos’ main responsibilities will be developing and executing Inclusive Diversity strategies around the Employee Resource Groups.
He is a graduate from Illinois State University and was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. His family roots started in the little pueblos de Mexico.
