Marlene González, is founder and president of Life Coaching Group LLC. She is a leader in the cutting edge industry of executive coaching, consulting and training. Her organization is dedicated to "developing leaders as a catalyst for corporate growth and a source of intellectual capital." She is co-author of the book "Latinization and the Latino Leader;" How to develop and advance Latino business leaders, which will be published in the fall 2010.

Her client list includes government, non-profit, educational institutions and Fortune 500 companies; she supports them in areas such as Multicultural Leadership, Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, Mentoring and Coaching programs, Career Development, Wellness Revolution, Managing Cultural Differences, and Building Cross-Cultural Teams. González is apart of Mujeres de HACE, a program dedicated in creating a network of inspired Latina leaders that can affect change in the region by participating in a series of workshops whereby experts lead thought provoking topics on balancing work-family responsibilities. "HACE is a prestigious institution that had helped many professional Latinos and Latinas. I have personally benefited from the networking opportunity that HACE has created over the years. And I was invited for the Mujeres de HACE program at NLU as an executive coach to share my experience with the group. I was fascinated with the talented group of professional women that attended the program," González said. González has more than 30 years of corporate and business experience with Fortune 500 companies. She held many executive corporate positions in the US, Europe and Latin America in areas such as management, operations,

product development and innovation; franchising and field service, training, learning and development. She is the former Senior Director of global training, learning and development for McDonald’s Corporation. She led the strategic execution of the global training strategies, executive development and learning technology platform for the entire enterprise that supported 2.5 million employees, 30,000 restaurants located in more than 140 countries; in addition, she partnered with six corporate and local universities for curricula accreditation and alignment in five continents in more than 40 languages.

González is a certified Executive Coach, Life Wellness Instructor, and is a licensed practitioner for the Insights Discovery personality assessment model. She holds a BS, an Executive MBA/PAG from IESA Business School in Venezuela, and also holds a graduate diploma on managerial Issues in the global enterprise from Thunderbird University, the Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona. She is pursuing a doctorate degree on Natural Health and Nutrition.

González has been a recipient of many awards and recognitions such as Cambridge Who’s Who among executives and professionals, President’s Award for a Fortune 500 company, Team Awards, Manager of the Year, and was named one of the Top 100 Executives in Latin America by Dinero Magazine.
