The Talent Coordinator is responsible for the overall selection, coordination and scheduling of extras as well as to assisting in the casting process for guest stars and day player for scripted production and for providing administrative support to the Talent Department.

| Responsibilities || Reads and interprets the script within the context of character portrayal and description to ensure the appropriate selection of talent
Responsible for assisting the Casting/Talent Manager in placing calls to agents in an effort to check the availability of selected actors
Coordinates and schedules appointments with actors and/or agencies
Reviews and/or prepares a detailed PowerPoint presentation with photos and resumes of all possible actors that fit the role of every upcoming new project
Acts as the liaison between the Talent Department and extras and assists in determining and coordinating the schedules and arrival of talent
Coordinates call times and locations for next day shootings as instructed by the Casting Specialist and informs the Talent department of any unforeseen changes
Monitors and provides assistance to talent regarding the traveling from one location to another in order to maximize their time
Provides daily feedback and weekly reports to the Casting Specialist and Casting Manager regarding the work performance of Talent and confirms their attendance to all pre-established call times
Coordinates and guides talent to appropriate production employee prior to shooting (i.e. Talent Calls Associate)
Ensures talent has all pertinent items (i.e. script) and understands the role for the day prior, during, and after shooting has finished
Responsible for all general office duties (following up on emails, faxes, coordinating meetings/business lunches, etc.)
Provides assistance in the coordination of talent at Telemundo related events (Billboard Awards, Premieres) as needed
Works under the direct supervision of the Casting/Talent Manager and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures
Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment
Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader
Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader
| Qualifications/Requirements || Minimum 2 years of experience in the production of scripted dramatic
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Internet search engines
Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions

Must be 18 years or older
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
Must be fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read & write)
Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to work regular hours.
